Feeding Spirits for Healthy Minds Program and Emergency Food Assistance
Discoveries of Hope Foundation is developing this program offering in partnership with a local Los Angeles Food Distribution Program to receive, store, and distribute food to needy families and charitable organizations which require intermediate help during difficult times.
These efforts are to support short term needs for family assistance to help maintain the daily nutritional needs of those families and organizations. The program is called Feeding Spirits for Healthy Minds Program (FSHM).
In addition, The Emergency Food Assistance Pro
gram (TEFAP), and the Home Land Security Strategic Food Reserve will also be part of our efforts to have a strategic planning support system in place, to help with distribution in times of natural disaster preparedness.
